Autumn in New York... and New England!

It's been a lovely autumn indeed here in New York! After returning to the city from spending the Summer in New Hampshire, I've welcomed some new and exciting teaching opportunities that have kept me busy and challenged. In September, I began teaching an introductory small-group voice class as well as private lessons at the Darien Arts Center back in my CT hometown, just a short train ride away from the city. I also joined Unity Stage Company as a Teaching Artist, visiting public schools throughout Queens as part of an after-school program. We're currently working on "Consider Yourself", which reminded me that Oliver was my first ever musical in 6th grade! I think it took all three years of Middle School to get those songs out of my head...

In addition to these new opportunities, I was happy to return to teaching for a fresh Fall Term at Young Singers Academy in NYC as well as my private studio in Exeter, New Hampshire. Traveling to NH once a month has been such a welcome escape- especially during October at peak foliage time!

I am very grateful to be teaching and doing what I love - in all 3 states! Stay tuned for some repertoire recommendations I have gathered from my group classes.
