JOAN FREY BOYTIM AWARD WINNER!
I'm honored to share that I am a winner of NATS'
Joan Frey Boytim Award for Independent Teachers!
Can't wait to head to Knoxville for the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) conference this Summer!
I remember getting Joan's book: "The Private Voice Studio Handbook" when I first opened my studio. This feels like a very full circle milestone as I get closer to reaching a decade of teaching!

CELEBRATING WORLD VOICE DAY:
APRIL 16TH, 2024
This April, I asked over 30 of my students the question:
"What is one thing you love about your voice?"
We discovered that this wasn't the easiest question to answer! We're all so much quicker to think of the things we want to improve, or are a bit self-critical of.
It was so nice to a moment to appreciate the MANY amazing things we are able to do with our voices everyday. I love how each singer's response was unique and different - just like their voices!
